Create Incremental Tasks Based on Full Tasks
UDTS provides an option to quickly create incremental tasks based on completed full transfer tasks as listed in the table below.
Source Type | Target Type |
---|---|
MySQL | MySQL |
MySQL | TiDB |
Step 1: List Full Tasks
The UDTS product homepage will list all tasks by default. Find the completed “Full Task” from the list.
Click the “Details” button to proceed to the next step.
Step 2: View Task Details
Ensure that there is binlog data in the sync column. If there is no data in the sync column, it indicates that the source database has not enabled binlog, and therefore, it is not possible to create an incremental task for data synchronization.
Click the “Create Incremental Task” button to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Create Incremental Task
Enter the name of the incremental task and click edit to supplement the passwords of the source and target databases.
Fill in the database password and task name to complete the creation.
