How to Transfer Data from Self-built IDC to Surfercloud
When users need to migrate data from a self-built IDC to Surfercloud, they can do so via the public network address of the database or set up a dedicated line for transmission.
Setting Up a Dedicated Line
If using a dedicated line address, users need to set up a dedicated line between their self-built IDC and Surfercloud in advance.
Creating UDTS Task
Choose the address type as dedicated line address/public network if migrating via public network address.
Fill in the target end with the connected Surfercloud‘s internal network address and the corresponding VPC.
In the example shown, the source address is the internal network address of the self-built IDC, and the target address is in the Surfercloud internal network, which originally could not communicate. Internal network transmission is achieved through the dedicated line.
If there are bandwidth requirements for the dedicated line to prevent being heavily used by UDTS transmission tasks, you can limit the speed of the task’s transmission. Currently, this is only supported during the full stage of MySQL-MySQL transfer.
