How to Migrate from Alibaba Cloud Redis to Surfercloud Cloud Memory Redis

Applicable scenario: Migrate Alibaba Cloud Redis to Cloud Memory Redis through UDTS.

Note: To achieve incremental synchronization in Alibaba Cloud Redis 2.8, you need to upgrade to version 4.0.

Please contact technical support to obtain the whitelist address.

Ensure that UDTS can access Alibaba Cloud’s database from the outside, as shown in the image:

Ignore this step if using Redis 2.8 version or for full migration only.

This step applies to Alibaba Cloud Redis 4.0+ standard version.

Go to the sidebar “Account Management”

Create an account with “replication” permissions.

Choose Full or Full + Incremental task as needed.

Note: For incremental, the password needs to be filled in as the account:password with “replication” permissions.

For example: Username ucloud Password password For UDTS task, please fill in data source password as ucloud:password

For Alibaba Cloud Redis 4.0+ cluster version/separation of read and write version, you need to enable the Rump option for migration.
