Product Overview
Cloud Disk (UDisk) as a basic block storage product for cloud computing scenarios provides persistent storage space block devices for cloud hosts. It has an independent life cycle, based on network distributed access, providing cloud hosts with large-capacity, highly reliable, scalable, easy-to-use, and low-cost hard disks.
Cloud Disk (UDisk) is divided into three types: ordinary cloud disk, SSD cloud disk, and RSSD cloud disk. The ordinary cloud disk is SATA medium, and the SSD cloud disk and RSSD cloud disk are SSD medium.
Cloud Disk (UDisk) is a type of cloud disk device that SurferCloud can flexibly create and provide advanced management functions. It adopts a backup mechanism of multiple cross-cabinet physical machines within the available area, with the ordinary cloud disk guaranteeing data persistence of 99.99999%, and the SSD cloud disk and RSSD cloud disk guaranteeing data persistence of 99.999999%. If you wish to further improve data persistence, enabling snapshot service on the Cloud Disk (UDisk) (regularly creating snapshots + data ark protection) is an economical and convenient way to improve long-term data persistence.
Cloud Disk (UDisk) is powerful and easy to use. Users can mount the created cloud disk to any cloud host and can expand the cloud disk when the disk space is insufficient. At the same time, the snapshot and clone functions provided by the UDisk cloud disk facilitate data backup, recovery, and copying, improving the availability of data.
The ordinary cloud disk currently supports a maximum capacity of 8000G; the SSD cloud disk currently supports a maximum capacity of 8000G; the RSSD cloud disk currently supports a maximum capacity of 32000G. It can better meet the user's demand for large capacity without the need for users to build their own LVM.
Note: For security reasons, a single UDisk cloud disk can only be mounted to one cloud host at a time.
