Single Partition Data Disk_Windows

If only one partition has been divided before the host, and the NTFS/FAT file system is used, you can use the following method to expand.

Note:

Please confirm before expanding the disk. If there is data in the data disk, it is recommended that you backup the data first.
Cloud disks can only be expanded when they are available. Because it needs to unload the cloud disk, it will interrupt your business, so please operate cautiously.

Operation Notice:

• Version of the environment in this example:

• In this example, Disk1 is the mounting point of the cloud disk, please operate according to the actual situation. If you don't see the corresponding device, please check the cloud disk mounting information and status.

Specific Operations:

• Check the current mounting situation.

• Uninstall the cloud disk in the operating system and the console, please refer to the Uninstall Cloud Disk chapter for specific steps.
• Resize the cloud disk through the console.

• Mount the cloud disk in the console. Please refer to the Mount Cloud Disk chapter for specific steps.
• After the mount is complete, check the disk size in the operating system.

• Right-click the empty area of the new partition D, and select Extend Volume.

• Check the partition situation after the expansion.
