Create Cloud Disk

Create Cloud Disk

You can create a cloud data disk through the following 4 ways:

  • Create an empty data disk through the disk management console.
  • Use the cloning function in the disk management console to create a data disk. Please refer to: Operation Guide-Clone
  • Create a data disk from a snapshot in the snapshot management console. Please refer to: Operation Guide-Create data disk from snapshot
  • Create a data disk along with the instance. Please refer to: Cloud host user manual-Create the first host

Note:
It is recommended not to partition the cloud disk on the cloud host to avoid affecting the expansion of the cloud disk.
It is not recommended to build LVM and other logical volumes by yourself, because the snapshot targets each independent disk, and the creation and use of LVM will cause data differences after the snapshot is rolled back.
