Installation of Cloudera

Installation of Cloudera-Manager

Download from this link:

http://archive.cloudera.com/cm4/installer/latest/cloudera-manager-installer.bin

Execute the following script:

chmod u+x cloudera-manager-installer.bin

Go into /etc/yum.repo.d/:

cat >cloudera-manager.repo <<\EOF [cloudera-manager] name=Cloudera Manager baseurl=http://cloudera-manager.mirror.surfercloud.com gpgcheck=0 enabled=1 EOF

Execute:

cloudera-manager-installer.bin

Installation of Cloudera-CDH

Select the specific version of CDH you want to install on your host.

Choose “Customize repository”

Enter http://cloudera-cdh4.mirror.surfercloud.com/ (If you need to install CDN3, please enter http://cloudera-cdh3.mirror.surfercloud.com)

Select the specific version of Cloudera Manager you want to install on your host.

Choose “Customize repository”

Enter “http://cloudera-manager.mirror.surfercloud.com/

Note: For example,our host name defaults to 10-4-4-1. When installing CDH, please modify the hostname first and do not include ”-”, as some software is not compatible with this.
