Alert Template
1. Introduction to Alert Template
"Alert Template" provides a feature for bulk setting of resource alerts. By predefining alert rules in the template, the template can be combined with the resources in a binding manner and apply the rules already defined in the template to the resources.
2. Basic Operations of Alert Template
In the alert template page, the default alert templates for various resources have been created by default. Using the default alert templates can quickly set the basic alert rules for resources.
If the user wishes to modify or add more alert rules, they can create or generate new alert templates based on the default alert templates.
Note: The default alert template cannot be modified. If you need to save it after modification, please save it as a new custom alert template.
Click the "Create Template" button to create a new alert template. You need to select the resource type corresponding to the template (such as a cloud server), the rule import source, the template name, and the management notes, and then click create to open the "Edit Alert Template" window.
Click the "Add Rule" drop down button, and different monitoring indicators of the corresponding resource type will appear. In the picture below, "CPU Utilization" is selected, and the alert threshold is set to "95%", and the notification object is "default group". Click save to finish creating the alert template.
In addition, in the alert template list, you can also see the number of resources that a template has been bound to, and which specific resources are bound to this template, and you can also edit the rules in the existing template.
Note: To bind an alert template to a resource, see Alert Management.
