Alarm Templates
1. Alarm Template Introduction
"Alarm Templates" provide a function for batch setting resource alarms. By predefining the alarm rules in the template, the template can be combined with resources in a binding manner, and the rules already defined in the template can be applied to resources.
2. Basic Operations of Alarm Template
On the Alarm Template page, default alarm templates have been created for various resources by default. Using the default alarm templates can quickly set basic alarm rules for resources.
If users want to modify or add more alarm rules, they can create or generate new alarm templates based on the default alarm templates.
Note: The default alarm template cannot be modified. If you need to save after modification, please save it as a new custom alarm template.
Click the "Create Template" button to create a new alarm template. You need to select the resource type corresponding to the template (such as a cloud host), rule import source, template name and management note in order. Click create to open the "edit alarm template" window.
Click the "Add Rule" dropdown button, there will appear different monitoring indicators corresponding to the resource type. The selected one in the following figure is "CPU utilization rate", and the alarm threshold is set to "95%", with the notification object being the "default group". Click save to complete the alarm template creation.
In addition, in the alarm template list, you can also see the number of resources already bound to a certain template, as well as which specific resources are bound to this template, and the rules in the existing template can be edited.
