Configuration File Management
Users can select the configuration file from the left navigation bar to jump to the configuration file management page.
The configuration file is an important component required for the launch of the MySQL instance, involving related parameter configuration. MySQL instances all need to use specific configuration files, Ucloud provides default configuration files, and default configuration files cannot be modified.
Import Configuration Files
In addition to the provided default configuration files, users can also import custom configuration files to allow MySQL instances to use this configuration.
Click on the "Import" button on top of the configuration file, fill in the "Configuration Name", "Description", "DB Type" in the pop-up input box, and select the configuration file locally, click "OK" to complete the import.
Create Configuration Files
In addition to importing configuration files, you can also create configuration files directly on the configuration file management page.
Click the "Create" button, in the pop-up dialog box, enter the "Configuration Name", "Description", "DB Type", and you can choose to copy from an existing configuration, click "OK" to complete the creation of the configuration file.
View Configuration Files
In the configuration file list, select a specific configuration file and click on the details to see the specific parameter information and application situation. In the "Parameter List" column, you can view all its current parameter items, and in "Applied Instances" it shows which MySQL instances use this configuration file.
The default configuration file supports downloading to local and saving as a user configuration file with customizable parameter values; in addition to the download and save as functions, the user configuration file supports modifications to the current configuration file parameter values and restarts the UDB instances that have applied this configuration file according to the parameter modification situation.
Edit Configuration Files
In the configuration file list, select the custom configuration file, click "Details" in the "Operations" to view all current parameter items and can be edited and save changes.
After the dynamic type parameter is modified, it automatically updates and takes effect, and the static type parameter takes effect after the instance is restarted; if you have completed the modification of the static type parameter value, you can select the instance that needs to take effect in the applied instance to restart or start the operation:
Note:
Custom parameters need to refer to the range and character type.
The default configuration file is not editable. If users need to make modifications based on the default configuration file, they can choose to save the default configuration file as a new configuration file. Once created successfully, users can make custom modifications to the new configuration file.
Change Configuration File
For MySQL instances, users can change the current configuration file.
Select the MySQL instance, choose "Modify Configuration File" in the drop-down operation item on the right, select the configuration file needs to be changed in the pop-up dialog box.
