Auto-Renewal

1. Auto-Renewal Rules

To enhance the consumer experience, the renewal logic for prepaid resources has been adjusted since June 27, 2019: Yearly and monthly resources (excluding high-defense products) will automatically renew within 24 hours after expiration. If the renewal fails, they will be recycled. Hourly resources (excluding high-defense products) will automatically renew within 1 hour after expiration. If the renewal fails, they will be recycled. For easier settlement, the renewal cycle for automatic renewal has been adjusted since May 5, 2019: For monthly prepaid resources (excluding high-defense products), if there is sufficient balance, the first automatic renewal will renew until the end of the month, and then renew by natural month. Example: A network resource that is about to expire and renews monthly will first automatically renew at 17:58 on May 15, 2019, and the system will automatically renew until 00:00:00 on June 1, 2019. Each subsequent automatic renewal will renew by natural month. The next renewal cycle for the resource in the example is 00:00:00 on June 1, 2019 - 00:00:00 on July 1, 2019. For hourly prepaid resources (excluding high-defense products), if there is sufficient balance, the first automatic renewal will align to the nearest hour.

If the available balance is insufficient at the time of renewal, the automatic renewal operation will be postponed to the next day until the renewal is completed. If the renewal is not completed when the resource expires, an overdue arrears order will be generated daily. After recharging, the previous renewal cycle will continue and these orders will be cancelled.

2. Turning on the "Auto-Renewal Switch"

After purchasing a product, you can choose whether to turn on the "Auto-Renewal Switch" in User Center > Product Orders > Renewal Management.

When the "Auto-Renewal Switch" is turned on and your account balance is sufficient, the system will automatically renew for you when it is about to expire. It should be noted that automatic renewal is based on the previous configuration and duration. When the account balance is insufficient, the system will fail to charge when the resource expires, and the resource status will be displayed as "Expired". You can "Manually Renew" after recharging.

Example 1: You purchase a specified configuration UHost for 30 days on May 8, worth 120. If you turn on the "Auto-Renewal Switch" at the time of purchase, the system will automatically renew on June 7 when it is about to expire.

Example 2: You purchase a specified configuration UHost for 30 days on May 8, worth 120. If you turn on the "Auto-Renewal Switch" at the time of purchase, and your account balance is insufficient to pay when the system automatically renews and deducts on June 7, the charge will fail.

3. Turning off the "Auto-Renewal Switch"

When the "Auto-Renewal Switch" is turned off, the resources will automatically enter arrears status after expiration, and the system will remind you of the resource expiration and renewal matters. At this time, the system will not release the user's resources, and the user can renew by "Manual" renewal. Users can choose to pay monthly or yearly when renewing. If the user does not recharge and "Manually Renew", the charge will fail and the resource status will be displayed as "Expired".

Example: You purchase a specified configuration UHost for 30 days on May 8, worth 120 . If you do not turn on the "Auto-Renewal Switch" at the time of purchase, the resources will enter arrears status when they are about to expire on May 7.
