When resources expire, if they are not renewed in time, they will be suspended and reclaimed. Users can set up automatic renewal for resources (automatic renewal is selected by default when purchasing resources). After successful setup, when resources expire, the system will automatically deduct from the user's account balance for renewal.

The specific rules for handling expiration are as follows:

Time PeriodProcessing Rules
Before Resource ExpirationIf not all resources have auto-renewal enabled, or if the account balance is insufficient for renewal, the system will push an imminent expiration alert on the 7th, 3rd, and 1st day before resource expiration (for resources billed Monthly and Yearly). If all resources have auto-renewal enabled and the account balance is sufficient, the system will not push an imminent expiration alert. Notifications are pushed via email, USMS, and on-site messages.(Recycle Alert (opens in a new tab)
After Resource ExpirationIf the resource is not set to auto-renew, or if the account balance is insufficient for renewal, the resource enters an expired state, and the system will send a resource expiration notice after the resource expires (for monthly and yearly billed resources). Notifications are sent via email, SMS, and in-app messages.(Recycle Alert (opens in a new tab))。
After Resource Expiry - Before Resource SuspensionFor cloud resources that have not been set to auto-renew: If the user does not renew, the cloud resources will be suspended (shutdown, data retained), and a resource suspension alert will be sent 24 hours before suspension, notifying the user that the resource will soon be suspended, and if continued use is required, renewal should be done as soon as possible. For cloud resources that have been set to auto-renew: If the account balance is sufficient, the system will complete the auto-renewal; if the account balance is insufficient for renewal, the cloud resources will be suspended (shutdown, data retained), the system will send a resource suspension alert 24 hours before suspension, notifying the user that the resource will soon be suspended, and if continued use is required, renewal should be done as soon as possible.
Resource SuspensionIf the resource is not renewed after expiration, the monthly and yearly billed resources will be suspended on the 3rd day after expiration and a suspension notification will be sent; the hourly billed resources will be suspended between 10:00-12:00, 24 hours after expiration and a suspension notification will be sent, among which, resources less than 72 hours will be suspended 1 hour after expiration. After the resource is suspended, users can renew it on the console to restore its working state.
Before Resource RecyclingA resource recycling alert will be pushed 24 hours before recycling.
Resource RecyclingBefore the resource is recovered, if the user still has not renewed it, the resource will be released, its data will be cleared and cannot be recovered (on the 10th day after expiration, 14 days for UDB products). Among them, the hourly billed resources will be recovered between 15:00-18:00, 24 hours after expiration (UDisk hourly billed resources will still be recovered in 10 days, UDB hourly billed resources will still be recovered in 14 days). After the resource is released, reminders will be sent via email, SMS, and in-station messages.(Recycle Alert (opens in a new tab)))

Postpaid

When the account balance is insufficient to pay for the generated order, the resources enter a state of arrears. If the arrears order is not paid in time, the resources will be suspended and reclaimed. The specific rules for handling expiration are as follows:

Time PeriodProcessing Rules
After the resources are in arrearsIf a resource generates an unpaid order, the resource enters an arrears status. The system will push an arrears notification after the resource is in arrears. The notification is pushed via email, SMS, and in-station messages.(Recycle Alert (opens in a new tab)
After the resource is in arrears - before the resource is restrictedIf the account balance is sufficient, the system will complete the automatic payment; if the account balance is not enough to pay, the cloud resources will be restricted, and the system will send an alert 24 hours before the restriction, notifying the user that the resources will be restricted. If you need to use it normally, you need to pay as soon as possible.
Resource SuspensionIf the overdue payment for resources is not settled, the service will be restricted on the third day of arrears and a restriction notice will be sent. After the service is restricted, users can pay the overdue orders in the control panel to restore their working status.
Before Resource RecyclingAn alert will be sent 24 hours before the resource is about to be recycled.
Resource RecyclingBefore resource recycling, if the user still has not paid the overdue order, the resources will be released, their data will be cleared and cannot be recovered (on the 7th day after expiration, File products are 30 days). After the resources are released, reminders will be sent through email, SMS and in-site messages. (Recycle Alert (opens in a new tab)

Tips

The possibility of recovery is extremely low after resources have expired or been deleted. To reduce risk, please renew your subscription and backup data in a timely manner. In case of special circumstances, please submit a work order, and we will do our best to retrieve it for you.
