Configure CNAME
Once your domain name is accessed and audited, the system will assign a CNAME domain name with a suffix of .abc.com.cn. You need to point the accelerated domain name to the CNAME address so that the requests of the accelerated domain name can be forwarded to the CDN node to achieve the acceleration effect. You need to configure a CNAME record at the DNS service provider, and finally, you can use the dig command to check whether the DNS has successfully resolved this domain name.
Operation Steps
1) Delete the A record at the DNS service provider and add a CNAME record,
2) Under my domain name title, add the domain name you want to set. If it has been added, please click on the added domain name, and then click the add record button, as shown in the following figure:
- Host Record: refers to the domain name prefix, such as: the created acceleration domain name is static.abc.cn, the domain name is abc.cn, prefix is static;
- Record Type: Please select cname type;
- Line Type: The default type is network type, generally choose default, if particularly needed, you can choose other operators;
- Record Value: namely the CNAME domain name provided by SurferCloud. After our company's approval, it will be sent to users by email, or it can be viewed on the Ucdn console domain name management interface;
- mx Priority: Setting cname record does not need to set mx priority;
- TTL: Refers to the update time of resource records, that is, how long it will read the latest records from the dns server, the default unit is seconds, generally choose the default value;
After configuring all parameters, click Save, and the CNAME configuration is completed.
cname records may conflict with other types of records of the same name, causing all records to fail. Please pay attention when filling in.
Finally, you can use the dig command to check whether the DNS has successfully resolved this domain name
